Lotion Anyone?
I love this brand because of the packaging and type. Each bottle has a different title or word on it and all of the copy following relates to it. The copy is either the definition or a story, but I think that it is a really unique way to draw the costumer into a product. I like how simple the type is and it doesn't have to fight with the copy even though there is a lot of it. Overall the bottle has a simplistic feel and but the design pulls in the viewer to take a closer look.

It's interesting that the type on the bottle doesn't specifically describe the lotion itself (it describes a number of things that relate to grace), but I agree that this subtle idea has a greater impact and has a sense of intrigue that would attract a viewer. The type resembles what you would find in a dictionary, but it's meant to be that way. Even though this is quite a simple design, I think this is a good approach to designing lotion bottles; the design shouldn't be overpowering but instead sophisticated and attractive.
I think my favorite thing about this design is how they didn't use any images to create it. The design is completely done by using type. It definitely sets itself apart from all of the other lotion bottles that have colorful swirls and sparkles on them. Very sophisticated!
the way this product really stands out on the shelves is the fact that they dont use cheesy designs or colors. they focus on type to help create a clean, modern, and expensive looking product. its cute and has a fun message along with it, a perfect sales component.
I love how the typography curves so eloquently around the bottle! There is a lot of typography, which I would normally not want to read, but because this is done so beautifully I can not help but want to read it.
I think it's interesting how nowadays the most "simplistic" looking products are the ones that typically stand out on the shelves at stores. Companies are always striving to do the most "design crazy" thing to make themselves stand out... when really simple is always better. I like how the word "grace" stands out... it makes you want to keep reading regardless of how long the copy is on the bottle.
this is really unique because usually companies try to clean up the product as much as possible or at least have as little text for the consumer to read. They just want quick, fun words that grab their attention and nothing else to distract or clutter the field. This bottle, though, does the exact opposite. But as the same time, since it has a very plain background the text creates this great texture and become much less cluttered to the eye. I really like it.
This is interesting it is very unique. The colors are pastel which normally you wouldnt think would stand out but they do. The definition looks cool and the curves around the bottle work great.
