Guerilla Marketing

Even though this uses a stencil type, (which I find not to be the most intriguing type due to over use in Army, etc.) This Guerilla Marketing is very effective. It is a good example of to keep your eyes open because you don't know where your great new idea will come from.

How clever!! I love seeing all of ways designers and advertisers can audaciously capture everyone's attention with their cool ideas. I actually think of Milton Glaser's stencil typeface when I look at this; I'm sure he would be proud to know that it was used for this clever idea. I think the typeface works well because it emulates the vertical, bold lines of the grill.

This is a great example of guerilla marketing. When I first saw this, I did not even see the typeface as being overused. The similarity of the grill and the typeface play nicely off of each other.
