doormat speaks for itself


This doormat is so cool. As you walk up to the doorstep, it tells you to "come in" and as you leave the doorstep it tells you to "go away." This design shows us how the possibilities with typography are endless. By manipulating letters to look a certain way, the designer was able to make the words legible both right-side-up and upside down. Clever and beautiful intriguing!

really fun design, very vesitile. reminds me of the coca cola typeface, i wonder how he came with the idea...creative use of type

Wow, how tricky!! This goes to show how typography can really play with your mind. I love how it shoes both phrases without being to distracting or obvious because of the type manipulation. The curvy strokes really help create this neat illusion.

This design is so creative and ingenious! I really appreciate how he captured this double meaning without being obvious. There is a sense of mystery in the design, which really adds to the greatness of it.
